** Electronics Repair Technician*
* ** Position Summary*
* The Tech B Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic devices and circuit boards at both the board and component level. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret schematics, and hands‑on experience with electronic test equipment. The Tech B technician performs root‑cause analysis, completes repairs following IPC standards, and ensures all work meets quality and safety requirements.

** Key Responsibilities*
* ** Troubleshooting & Diagnostics*
* + Perform board‑level and component‑level troubleshooting on a variety of electronic devices and assemblies.

+ Follow structured diagnostic processes to isolate failures, including no‑power, signal failure, or intermittent issues.

+ Use schematics and documentation to identify defective components rather than replacing parts by trial and error.

+ Analyze different types of circuits including power, logic/data, and RF circuits.

** Tools & Equipment*
* + Operate standard electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, Huntron systems, spectrum analyzers, and other bench tools.

+ Use digital multimeters to measure voltage, current, resistance, continuity, and related electrical parameters.

+ Apply rework equipment-including heat guns, soldering irons, and hot-air tools-for component removal and replacement.

** Soldering & Rework*
* + Perform soldering and de-soldering on through‑hole, surface‑mount, fine‑pitch, and IC components.

+ Follow IPC‑A‑610 or IPC‑7711/7721 standards for rework, repair, and acceptable workmanship.

+ Use rework flux and proper thermal techniques to ensure components are reliably installed.

** Required Qualifications*
* + Prior experience in electronics troubleshooting or repair (board and/or component level).

+ Proficiency with electronic test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).

+ Hands‑on soldering experience with various component types.

+ Understanding of ESD principles and safe handling of electronic components.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + IPC‑A‑610 or IPC‑7711/7721 certification.

+ Experience repairing power systems, logic circuitry, or RF circuits.

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing, refurbishment, or technical repair environment.

** Soft Skills*
* + Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking.

+ Ability to work independently and follow structured processes.

+ Strong documentation and communication skills.

+ Attention to detail and consistent quality workmanship.

** Working Conditions*
* + Bench‑level electronics work in a technical service or repair environment.

+ Use of microscopes, precision tools, and test equipment.

+ May require repetitive fine‑motor work, including soldering small components.

** Pay Details:**  $20.55 per hour
