Position: SANITATION TECHNICIAN

Pay: Weekly pay

3rd shift 11pm-7:30pm

** Shift differential of $2.00 more offered for 3rd shift*
* ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean production and warehouse (plant) floors, racking, doors, employee breakrooms, bathrooms, etc. as needed and requested.

• Follows all applicable GMP's for the area in which he/she is assigned.

• Clean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lot.

• Gather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, paper and damaged product & dispose of it properly.

• Documents and verifies activities supporting Company Food Safety & Quality Assurance Programs.

• Must be able to climb, work off ladders and silos and in confined spaces.

• Knowledge and abilities to work safely in a manufacturing environment and adhere to GMP regulations as well as HACCP & Food Safety regulations.

• Maintains plant cleanliness (, Empties scrap bins into compactor - cleans empty bins - cleans compactor area).

• Carry out daily Hygiene checks throughout the warehouse and production.

• Completes proper procedures for cleaning equipment consistently.

• Ability to perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Housekeeping in a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferred.

• High school Diploma or GED, preferred.

• Ability to lift 10-15 lbs., to include moving, lifting and pushing cleaning and sanitation equipment. Ability to work in hot or cold environment (including outside).

• Stoop and reach overhead (bending and twisting).

• Ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to read and understand some English, preferred. Ability to relate well to many cultures

• Ability to operate a Forklift or willingness to be obtain training and certification through the company.
