Essential Responsibilities
* Work from drawings, sketches, and other instructions to perform machining operations such as mill, turn, face, bore, groove, contour, dovetail, drill, tap, etc. to precise electrical and mechanical tolerances
Qualifications/Requirements
* Associate's Degree in a Machining discipline and a minimum of 1 year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc.
OR
* High School Diploma/GED with a Machining certification from an accredited university with courses that cover:
Mathematics, CNC Milling, CNC Lathes, Print Reading, Machine Tooling, G&M code, FANUC controls, and hands on machine application (i.e. capstone, shop hours) and a minimum of 1 year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc.
OR
* High School Diploma / GED with a Journeyman's card with completion of a Machining apprentice program and a minimum of 1 year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability, with or without accommodation, to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds
* Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
* Ability and willingness to work occasional weekend shifts
* Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
* Ability and willingness to take a pre-employment test and submit to technical interview
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

* Able to use, read, and understand measuring tools
* Knowledge of common PC tools, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
* Reading comprehension; understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
* Able to follow written instructions and take verbal instructions
* Able to work with computerized shop floor tools to include, but not limited to: vouchering systems, on-line quality programs, and payroll management tools
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team with minimal supervision
The hourly pay range for this position is $37.07 to $41.88. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases. This position is eligible for a $1.00 per hour Night Shift Bonus.
* The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
