What you'll do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:
* Review work orders assign and proactively attend the work.
* Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
* Servicing manufacturing equipment, boilers, air compressors, and electric lift trucks.
* Maintenance duties include machining, electrical, hydraulics, steam, pneumatics, and welding.
* Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
* Share ideas for improvement with department manager
Your strengths as a Maintenance Technician
* 2 years preferred of electrical experience.
* Preferrable to be proficient in all aspects of electrical voltage, distribution, code interpretation and application.
* Must have the ability to work without supervision and to train mechanics of all levels in safe electrical work practices.
* Must have high school diploma/GED.
* Must have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
* Knowledge of PLC computer programming, robotics, and related electronics is an asset.
* Selected candidate must possess their own tools
* MUST be able to pass a Maintenance skills assessment
