The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Britelife Recovery plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Nursing and overseeing the nursing department's operations. The ADON ensures that clients receive high-quality, compassionate care tailored to their needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment. The ADON will aid in supervising nursing staff, contribute to clinical/nursing practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
The ADON will be involved with the development of the day-to-day schedule, coordinating availability, and overseeing competency assessments. This position may also provide collateral information to assist the Director of Nursing when completing performance evaluations.
Full Time - 40 hours;
Must have touch points with overnight shifts and weekends 2x weekly in both Bluffton, SC and Hilton Head Island, SC.Supervise and coordinate the nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Assist in the development, implementation, and review of client records.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of care provided to clients, and addressing client concerns.
Ensure necessary information is captured as it relates to client care and medications.
Respond to client crises and coordinate interventions with a multidisciplinary team.
Assist in interviewing, training, and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring they are equipped with knowledge about substance use and addiction…
