Safety Coordinator

Required

Skills & Experience:

Associate's degree in occupational health & safety, EHS, or related field. 3-5 years of safety/EHS experience in wind/renewables inclusive of 1 year of field safety experience. Experience conducting audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and safety observations. Experience reviewing JHAs, JSAs, pre-task plans, lift plans, and other hazard control documentation. Knowledge of high-risk work activities, including LOTO, fall protection, working at heights, cranes, rigging, lifting operations.

Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Business, Human Resources, or a related field. ASP, GSP, CHST, or OHST certification. Current GWO Basic Safety Training certification.

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support a nationwide workforce of over 100 traveling field technicians and a growing operational support organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring personnel remain trained, certified, equipped, and compliant with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements. The Safety Coordinator will travel to customer and project sites throughout the United States to conduct safety audits, jobsite inspections, hazard assessments, and field observations while supporting safe execution of daily operations.

This individual will oversee PPE programs, including inventory management, ordering, distribution, and compliance monitoring, while maintaining certification records, training requirements, onboarding documentation, and workforce readiness. The Safety Coordinator will partner closely with field leadership, technicians, and customers to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, support incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
