Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be an essential part of the quality assurance department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to quality control, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:

Schenectady, NY

Pay Range: $25/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Perform routine cardboard sampling in designated production areas
• Follow established sample preparation and testing procedures
• Inspect samples and identify any defects or anomalies
• Accurately document results and observations in a computerized system
• Maintain organized and efficient work practices

What's Needed?

• Available to start immediately
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently
• Ability to follow established procedures consistently
• Basic computer skills required
• Previous quality control experience in a manufacturing environment (paper, cardboard, or similar industry preferred)
