Join Okta as a Sr Solutions Engineer, Large Enterprise, UK & I, and guide customers through their journey with your expertise in presentations, events, and meetings. Help them maximize the value of the Okta platform by building sales presentations, product demonstrations, and educating a diverse audience on Identity Security.

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll empathize with customers, identify their technical needs, and present tailored solutions. You'll utilize your technical skills and business insight to advise customers on the possibilities of Okta’s Identity Platform.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer's sales lifecycle.
• Create sales presentations and product demonstrations to educate customers on securing identity.
• Understand customer needs by asking clarifying questions and presenting solutions.
• Advise customers on the capabilities of Okta’s Identity Platform.

• Passion for customer service and experience in Pre Sales (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Pre Sales Consultant).
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively, including at a whiteboard.
• Knowledge of network security protocols (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP).
• Knowledge of identity governance and administration (IGA): identity lifecycle management, access reviews, role-based access control (RBAC), and policy enforcement.
• Knowledge of Privilege Access Management (PAM): familiarity with concepts such as least privilege, just-in-time (JIT) access, session monitoring, and vaulting privileged credentials to secure critical assets.
• Understanding of core application security concerns (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF).
• Understanding of sales methodologies and best practices, including awareness of MEDDPICCC.
• Experience working with Large Enterprise and/or Strategic sectors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to disperse knowledge to a highly skilled and experienced audience.
• Enjoy travel and meeting customers.
• Enjoy collaborating with cross functional teams to drive success.

• Experience with Identity & Access Management, Single Sign-on and API-based solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• Software Developer experience.
