Engineer II

Position Summary:

Maintains building, mechanical and other fixtures by making repairs and by performing preventative maintenance tasks/projects throughout the casino in one or more trade disciplines that may include but not be limited to landscaping, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical.

Essential Job Functions:

* Repair and maintain HVAC systems

* Replace damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings

* Assist Engineer III & IV with projects as assigned

* Plumbing, drywall repair, carpenter functions, special trade

* Perform preventative maintenance to equipment on a scheduled basis

* Handle routine calls, prioritized by guest service needs

* Assists with cleanliness of casino property Front and Heart of House

* Must be able to utilize ladders of various heights, during the course of Engineering duties

* All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and training or experience in the field

* Must have a current valid driver's license

* Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of casino's insurance policy

* Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments

* Strong customer service skills

* Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team

* Ability to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policies

* Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holiday

* Ability to obtain all required gaming licenses

Working Conditions:

* Frequently required to stand, climb or balance and stoop, and kneel

* Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

* Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor
