AI Tool Deployment Specialist
Technical Execution:
Own and manage the data flow and infrastructure required for effective AI tool deployment. Perform component- and subset-level analysis of AI systems; own specific system components and contribute to sub-assembly level solutions. Review historical engineering content and extract relevant content for use in AI tools; ensure technical accuracy and completeness. Identify and develop data collection methods, user interfaces, and integrate solutions with existing software tools.
Test and validate AI tools; debug and refine outputs as needed.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the GE Vernova AI Research Technology team to identify critical data requirements for AI model tuning and optimization. Partner with design engineers to identify technical needs and existing gaps in existing software or design tools. Participate on horizontal teams through both supporting and independent tasks; maintain accountability for the quality of your own work. Share knowledge with peers and leadership on effective utilization of AI tools.
Participate in design reviews and support program planning activities within a defined work framework. Proactively communicate project status and surface issues to managers in a timely manner.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:
Solve day-to-day technical problems with guidance; recognize the limits of your knowledge and seek support appropriately. Be an early adopter of change; adjust approaches to find faster, simpler solutions that improve output quality. Provide feedback on tools, processes, and technologies to help identify areas for improvement. Demonstrate curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies.
Program & Process Awareness:
Develop understanding of key elements of program planning and contribute to estimation activities. Build working knowledge of GE Vernova processes (e.g., ECN, One OTR), organizational structure, and customer relationships. Be open to mentoring and implement feedback provided by assigned mentors and engineering leadership. Begin developing awareness of GE Vernova's Innovation and IP development processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
Demonstrated understanding of AI concepts and tools such as large language models, prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation. Experience with data management, document automation, or workflow tool development. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with technical leadership. Familiarity with the energy industry, power conversion, or clean energy technologies. Experience with Python, APIs, or cloud-based AI platforms.
