This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager based in United States.

This role serves as a strategic finance partner, providing the insights and analysis needed to support informed business decisions. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting across a complex multi-state and multi-program environment. The position combines strong financial expertise with close collaboration across operational and business functions. You will translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations that help teams identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Your work will support strategic initiatives including technology investments, program expansion, pricing decisions, and organizational growth. The role also offers the opportunity to improve reporting processes, automate analysis, and strengthen scalable finance systems. It is well suited to an analytical and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business action.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting cycle, quarterly forecasting processes, and supporting activities for longer-term financial planning.
  • Build and maintain driver-based forecasting models that incorporate enrollment, caregiver activity, wage trends, operational performance, and other key business drivers.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to establish assumptions, improve forecast accuracy, and align financial plans with operational realities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including KPI dashboards, variance analysis, performance summaries, and actionable insights for leadership.
  • Analyze revenue, margins, cost trends, and performance across individual programs and states to identify financial risks, growth opportunities, and operational improvements.
  • Monitor financial performance associated with program transitions, new state launches, and major organizational initiatives.
  • Develop financial models for scenario planning, pricing strategies, program economics, investment decisions, market expansion, and long-term business planning.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for new initiatives, technology investments, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer support, enrollment, technology, government relations, and other business functions to translate financial information into practical recommendations.
  • Support state transitions and organizational rollouts through financial monitoring, performance analysis, and business insights.
  • Improve FP&A processes by automating recurring analyses, strengthening data accuracy, and increasing the availability of reliable financial information.
  • Help optimize finance systems, reporting tools, and workflows to build a more scalable and technology-enabled FP&A function.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, financial analysis, or a closely related discipline.
  • Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining financial models.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial results, identify meaningful trends, and translate complex information into clear business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to explain financial concepts and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
