Snelling Staffing is currently hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a company in Schererville, IN!
Pay Rate is $26 - $28 HR Depending on Experience
JOB OVERVIEWThe Mobile Equipment Mechanic maintains and repairs all mobile and heavy equipment, including forklifts, shuttle trucks, trailers, pick-up trucks, cranes, and manlifts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts
- Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance work; installing component and part upgrades, completing winterization procedures, and addressing work orders.
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies by repairing and adjusting components related to fuel, brake, steering, and hydraulic systems.
