Maintenance Technician II

G&W Electric Co., a global leader in innovative power grid solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our plant. You will read technical drawings, document all work in our maintenance system, and partner closely with production, engineering, and safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Inspect, test, and calibrate machinery to ensure safe, reliable operation
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Document maintenance activities and update work orders in the CMMSCollaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to resolve equipment issues
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company quality standards
