Eskola, LLC’s San Antonio branch is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Commercial Roofing Production Manager to oversee the execution of roofing projects for our commercial clients. This leadership role is critical in ensuring the timely, efficient, and safe delivery of roofing installations, repairs, and replacements. The Production Manager will coordinate with the project management team, supervise field operations, manage crews, and ensure all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will bring commercial roofing expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Lead the coordination, scheduling, and management of all roofing projects.
- Ensure that all jobs are completed according to client specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and train roofing crews, assign tasks and ensure teams work efficiently and safely.
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain high employee morale and productivity.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that labor, materials, and equipment are available and delivered on time.
- Work with the procurement team to maintain inventory and avoid project delays.
- Monitor the quality of work on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Enforce all safety procedures, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and other regulatory standards.
- Proactively address and mitigate safety risks on the job site.
- Assist with budget preparation and tracking, ensuring that projects are completed within financial parameters.
- Monitor labor costs, material costs, and change orders, and report any variances to senior management.
- Act as the point of contact for clients regarding project updates, timelines, and issues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Quickly identify and resolve any issues that may arise on-site, including staffing, material shortages, delays, or unforeseen challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, including daily logs, timesheets, project reports, change orders, and safety reports.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.
- Work closely with the Project Managers, Estimators, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to budget and schedule.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, built-up roofing (BUR), and metal roofing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.
- OSHA 30‑hour certification required; additional roofing or construction-related certifications (e.g., NRCA, RRC, or CRSM) are a plus.
- Proven leadership and crew management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
