Job title: LOAN OPERATIONS OFFICER
Reports to: SVP/Chief Lending Officer
Department: Loans
FLSA status: exempt
SummaryOversees the management of commercial and consumer lending, loan operations and loan processing staff
Duties & responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the loan department to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing
- Manages staff training, supervision, scheduling, workflow, and performance
- Ensures adherence to organizational policies, dual control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversees customer service coordination and interdepartmental communication
- Manages general ledger reconciliations related to the loan department
- Identifies operational issues and implements corrective actions
- Collaborates with IT to maintain and support loan systems (LASERPRO, Fiserv, D+H and others) and resolves system issues
- Ensures timely submission of SBA reports
- Oversees preparation of reports for the Board of Directors and Executive Loan Committee
- Attends management and Executive Loan Committee and Board Risk Committee meetings
- Oversees maintenance of Other Real Estate, repossessed assets, SBA receivables, and insurance files
- Coordinates information gathering and communication with auditors and regulators
- Performs additional duties as assigned by executive management
Day-to-day management of loan operations
Qualifications ExperiencePreferred 10 years related experience or equivalent. Demonstrated knowledge of loan operations, internal controls, lending compliance and regulatory issues. Proven ability to collaborate with executive management and regulatory agencies to effectively support sound policies, procedures, and bank lending philosophy. Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates. Project management experience and a history of systems conversion preferred.

Full time position with usual working schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
