Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Hand Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rehabilitation and a passion for helping patients recover from hand and upper extremity injuries. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in hand therapy practices and participate in continuing education.
Requirements

Skills and

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) from an accredited organization.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the hand and upper extremity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Requires regular and predictable attendance.
