Manufacturing Operator Tech II (Surface)
Overview
Summary: Ensures all lenses and job tray work tickets are properly seated into job trays prior to generator processing. Uses touch screen display control functions to perform jobs. Clears minor errors pertaining to production and correctly places unit into automatic loading position. Examines and replaces tools used in generator processing. Performs support functions as necessary within the generator area. Performs general daily and weekly maintenance.
Pay Class and Pay
Pay Class: Full Time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.62 per hour
Requirements: Ability to read and comprehend work instructions. Perform process steps as defined by area/department. Prioritize tray processing based on FIFO. Properly prepare tray for processing. Visually inspect lens for defects. Ability to diagnose, reset and monitor operation machine errors as needed. Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and leadership. Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.

Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience & Background
Conventional Surface Tech Endorsement for chemical handling. One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred
Language Skills
Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Reasoning Ability
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions. General problem solving abilities. Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate (computers, printers, and machines). Limit weight for lifting, pulling and pushing is 50 pounds. When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people to lift the load. Ability to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends and holidays.
