Job Summary

The Cardiac Telemetry unit focuses on heart care, offering an environment for growth and professional development.

• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Communicate confidently and professionally; actively engage in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
• Take accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.

• Graduated from an accredited diploma, associate’s, or baccalaureate RN program.
• Minimum six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi‑State Compact License (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
