Nurse Manager of Surgery

Job Summary

The Nurse Manager of Surgery OR ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• 1+ years applicable experience.
• 3+ years applicable experience.
• Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit.

• Current license to practice professional registered nursing in the state of Texas.
