Position: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Facilities Maintenance Technician

In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and industrial equipment by performing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and welding work. This position supports the maintenance team and plays an important role in ensuring facility operations run smoothly with minimal downtime.

Pay range: $23.50–$28.00/hr (based on experience)

Schedule:

Full-time, temp-to-hire 6a-230 ~~430p overtime!

Schertz, TX 78154

Tools provided — personal tools not required

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems to support continuous operations

Diagnose and repair electrical issues including motors, controls, wiring, and basic PLC troubleshooting to minimize downtime

Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding for equipment repair and fabrication

Repair and maintain plumbing systems including water lines, drains, fixtures, and compressed air systems

Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs to ensure operational efficiency

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and maintain accurate records and work orders

Follow all safety policies and procedures

High school diploma or equivalent

1–2 years of experience in maintenance or industrial equipment repair preferred

Valid Driver's License

Strong troubleshooting skills with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic tools

Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and small mechanical systems

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks in elevated areas

Drug screen and background check required

Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Reliable transportation (not on the bus line)
