This contract position offers a chance to partner directly with school teams, supporting student success for the upcoming academic year. Enjoy a focused and manageable caseload, with responsibilities including preparing and attending ARDs, conducting assessments, and providing direct speech therapy services.
Starting August 10, 2026, and running through November 2, 2026, you'll work on a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, putting in 37.5 hours each week. Youll collaborate closely with educators and families, advocating for students communication needs and helping to shape effective IEPs. If you have experience or interest in pediatric or school-based settings including SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY backgrounds your skills will shine here.
There is also potential for the assignment to extend or transition to full-time.
- Active TX SLP License (required)
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or equivalent eligibility
- Experience with pediatric and/or K-12 caseloads
- Strong communication, organization, and assessment skills
- Ability to prepare and effectively participate in ARDs
- Dedication to student growth and collaborative school culture
- Prepare documentation and deliver services for a small K-12 caseload
- Attend and contribute to ARDs
- Conduct speech and language assessments
- Collaborate with teachers and family members
- Monitor progress and maintain data-driven records
