Job Purpose:

The Distribution Center Driver is responsible for delivering orders and collecting Store returns, empty containers, and unsold merchandise using a company box truck along designated routes. They must comply with all DOT rules and regulations, as well as Local, State, and Federal Traffic Laws and Driving rules.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Review daily schedule provided by the DC Dispatcher, Lead, or Manager.
• Verify total number of pallets/totes to be loaded per location.
• Load box truck with designated DC equipment.
• Drive box truck to deliver parts to Company Store per scheduled route.
• Collect Store returns, empty containers, and unsold merchandise.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the Location Manager or Lead.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license for the appropriate state, and have a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Strong ability to communicate and stay organized through attention to detail.
• CDL / Hazmat license preferred but not required

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time. The occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
