Position Summary
Responsible for safely and efficiently dropping off/picking up materials from various vendors and construction sites.
Responsibilities- Drive delivery trucks to job sites and company destinations, properly securing and strapping materials for safe delivery.
- Load, unload, move, stack, stage, and transport tools, supplies, and equipment by hand or using dolly and/or forklift.
- Distribute received packages to designated office personnel as directed.
- Wash and clean department vehicles.
- Sweep, clean, haul trash, and maintain work area in a clean and organized fashion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant experience; flatbed experience is preferable.
- Valid Class A driver’s license.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and equipment such as forklift.
- Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects and related tools and equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Customer-service orientation.
- Attention to and respect for safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in the warehouse and at the construction site.
