Flex Truck Driver - Class A

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $90,000 annually
• Flat bed and forklift experience preferred
• Travel required, up to 100 percent

• Hauling construction materials to customer locations
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of brick and stone material
• Unloading trailer with Moffit forklift
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment
• Drivers can expect to be away from home 2 to 3 weeks per assignment
• Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of the work assignment

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency (required for federal law compliance)
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening
• Role is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; must maintain a constant state of alertness and safety, accepting responsibility for own and others’ safety

• Must meet physical and mental demands described; reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities
• Must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and reach; must lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg), occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
