Overview

As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you will fuel, wash, and inspect vehicles to ensure they are ready for customers. You will greet customers with a smile and help them start their day with confidence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and provide a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
  • Perform vehicle readiness inspections to ensure tires, fluids, and other maintenance items are addressed.
  • Help keep the facility clean and safe for customers and associates.
  • Build skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor.

General Requirements
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside.
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and other information established by Penske management.
  • Ability to perform all work in adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper selection and use of tools, PPE, machine guarding, and safety practices.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
  • Responsibilities include driving Penske and customer vehicles, requiring a current DOT driver qualification file and compliance with DOT and CDL requirements.
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, background screening (criminal checks, employment and education verification), pass a drug screen and physical, and travel within a near geography for training.
Physical Requirements
  • Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods.
  • Use hands to grasp, reach, touch, handle, and operate tools or controls routinely.
  • Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
  • Work safely in all weather conditions.
  • See and hear to navigate the work environment safely.
  • Lift or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs/45 kg; push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 lbs.
