Shift Type: Daytime; occasional overtime required
Pay Range: $19.50 – $21.50 per hour
Job SummaryThe Warehouse Operator supports daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and safe receipt, handling, and shipment of materials and customer orders. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, packaging, inventory handling, light assembly, and order fulfillment while supporting both domestic and international customer requirements. The role works closely with Customer Service, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, customer expectations are met, and inventory is properly maintained.
RequirementsDuties & Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving
- Process domestic and international shipments in accordance with customer and carrier requirements
- Prepare shipping labels, documentation, and required paperwork for carriers (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, and freight providers)
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and document discrepancies
- Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Pick, package, assemble, and ship products accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock verification, and proper material handling
- Ensure shipment accuracy, product quality, and order completeness
- Support warehouse organization and housekeeping
- Utilize customer portals and internal systems to process orders and shipping transactions
- Work within ERP or warehouse systems to support order tracking and inventory updates
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Planning, Sales, and Logistics to resolve issues
- Communicate professionally via email and other business tools
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (if certified)
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties and projects assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior warehouse, shipping, logistics, or material handling experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to learn shipping systems and customer requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Effective communication skills
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Valid driver’s license
- Infrequent vehicle driving requirement
- No business travel requirement
