To further strengthen our position in the French market, we are looking for a commercially driven and technically skilled Sales Manager Propulsion.
What will you do?- Implement the commercial strategy for our diesel, hybrid, and electric propulsion systems.
- Contribute proactively to the development of the propulsion sales strategy in France.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the recreational boating, inland waterways, small commercial marine, and semi-commercial sectors.
- Expand and strengthen the existing distributor network.
- Develop the refit and repowering market by promoting VETUS propulsion, engine, and manoeuvring solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for propulsion-related business activities throughout France.
- Represent VETUS at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.
- Work closely with the VETUS France team in Le Pradet and colleagues at our headquarters in Schiedam.
- Provide regular reporting on commercial activities, opportunities, and future initiatives.
- Organise and deliver product training sessions and workshops, both online and on-site.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hybrid propulsion systems, and DC/AC electrical installations.
- Affinity with shipbuilding and marine technology.
- Several years of experience in a commercial sales role, preferably within the marine industry.
- Proven track record in developing and growing business opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a technical and commercial environment.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel within France and internationally when required.
