Job Description & How to Apply Below

Noah Properties is a Chicago-based real estate development and investment company with a growing portfolio of multifamily, mixed-use, retail, and ground-up development projects across the Chicago area. We design, build, and manage our own projects, and the finishes are a big part of what sets them apart.

The Role

You’ll be the link between design and execution. You’ll research materials, source samples, track finish selections for every project, and then make sure those selections are ordered correctly, delivered on time, and installed as intended. You’ll also run our warehouse so materials are organized and ready when job sites need them. This role suits someone with an eye for finishes and product, who is also organized enough to make sure the right tile, hardware, or appliance actually shows up.

What

You’ll Do Design & Selections
  • Research new materials, finishes, fixtures, and products, and bring options to the design team
  • Order samples and maintain an organized sample library
  • Track finish specifications for each project, including flooring, tile, cabinetry, hardware, paint, fixtures, doors, and trim
  • Coordinate door and trim finish selections and orders with our millwork supplier
  • Confirm appliance selections and specs against project standards
  • Make sure windows and other orders match design intent and specs before they ship
Ordering & Coordination
  • Place and track orders for windows, doors, trim, appliances, and finish materials
  • Place orders through online vendors (Amazon, Wayfair, etc.) for fixtures, furnishings, and supplies
  • Maintain order tracking files covering what’s ordered, in transit, delivered, or outstanding
  • Coordinate deliveries to the warehouse, job sites, and subcontractors
Warehouse
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and tracking inventory in and out
  • Coordinate container arrivals and job site deliveries
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in interior design coordination, procurement, purchasing, or construction project coordination
  • Working knowledge of residential finishes, fixtures, and materials, with interest in staying current on new products
  • A strong eye for detail: you notice when the finish, size, or color is wrong
  • Highly organized, and comfortable maintaining tracking sheets in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Clear communicator with vendors, designers, project managers, and subs
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once without things slipping
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (regular travel between warehouse, showrooms, and job sites)
  • A design, interior design, or construction management background is a plus
