As a Military Outreach Director, you’ll help combat veteran suicide by running the day to day ministry operations on a designated military base. You will also oversee outreach opportunities and partnerships to help soldiers get the resources they need.

Responsibilities- Responsible for advancing Engage Your Destiny’s vision by passionately executing the implementation of ministry strategies and increasing engagement of soldiers to maximize impact.
- Implement all aspects of the soldier journey strategy, including EQ training, increasing program engagement, following and facilitating EYD curriculum, leadership development, discipleship, etc..
- Contributing to the military outreach content calendar by ensuring scheduled content/teaching/curriculum is produced, and working closely with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Provide both digital and in-person follow-up to soldiers (i.e. Text messages, phone calls, etc.).
- Connect soldiers with EYD designated resources for mental, emotional health and counseling services.
- Manage schedule of and conduct EQ resilience trainings.
- Plan, Coordinate, Support and Facilitate Friday ENGAGE Nights.
- Coordinate worship team schedule and other volunteers.
- Support and assist in discipleship program planning.
- Coordinate and execute events and discipleship initiatives.
- Lead and facilitate discipleship in small groups.
- Assist and manage the onsite budget.
- Utilization of discipleship tracker, and other metric tracking initiatives.
- Report on performance metrics and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Capture soldier stories in a variety of mediums.
- Analyze soldier engagement trends and implement best practices to re-engage lapsed soldiers.
- Ensure consistent EYD branding and messaging.
- Create engaging biblically based content for bible study, ENGAGE, encouragement and weekly texts/emails, in alignment with the content calendar.
- Submit all sermon and training notes prior to attending preaching meetings.
- Follow all EYD protocols and preferences - working with a cross functional team.
- Utilize ASANA for all events, tasks and initiatives, as well as other approved software as needed.
- Daily visible presence on base.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Prior service experience required.
- Multiple years following Christ, with ministry experience preferred.
- College Diploma or University Degree preferred.
- ASANA, Google Suite, and Microsoft experience preferred.
- Committed disciple of Jesus Christ, living in dependence on his indwelling Spirit and desiring to be obedient to Him as Lord.
- Displays a growth mindset and welcomes collaboration and feedback.
- Displays strong moral character, integrity above reproach and honesty.
- Must have military experience.
- Committed to building God’s Kingdom and not his/her own.
