Senior Budget Analyst

Serves as a Senior Budget Analyst in the Resource Management Division of the 516th Theater Signal Brigade. Functions as the principal advisor to leadership on budget formulation, execution, financial management and resource allocation matters affecting battalion operations and mission requirements. Provides expert analysis and recommendations concerning fiscal planning, execution, reprogramming and resource prioritization across multiple programs and mission areas. Serves as the Senior Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) for government travel and Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) programs.

Provides expert technical advice and guidance on all phases of appropriated fund budgeting to 30th Battalion leadership, program managers, and subordinate organizations.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Three year trial/probationary period may be required. This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually. Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is used to assist agencies and employees to avoid conflicts between duties and financial interest. TDY may be required up to 5% of the time. Incumbent must obtain Financial Management Certification Level II within two years of employment. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
