Duties
You will perform diagnostic and optical duties prior to optometrist's evaluation of patients. Record information on exam forms and inputs data into the electronic medical records (CHCS II). Assist in the Spectacle Request Transmission System (SRTS) entries, tracks spectacle orders and ensures timely distribution of all spectacles received. Coordinate and perform ocular screening. Assist in minor ophthalmic procedures to include administering medication, setting up equipment and cleaning up after procedures.
Perform administrative support functions for the clinic. Track spectacle orders and ensures timely distribution of all spectacles received by the optometry clinic.
