Career Opportunity Infant Toddler Teacher – Schuyler, NE

Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership is looking for a motivated energetic person to fill a rewarding position working with our Children. Individuals would be responsible for the care and education of young children, 6 weeks to 3 years of age.

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences in the Early Head Start Center.
• Coordinate the classroom including daily activities with kids, paperwork and parent communication.
• Promote a positive, happy and nurturing learning environment, including children with disabilities and dual language learners.
• Demonstrate effective communication and a non-judgmental attitude when working with staff, families, and children.
• Full-time year-round position with flexible Monday‑Friday schedule.
• Prefer candidates who can speak Spanish and English, but not required.

• Minimum of a Child Development (CDA), Associate Degree in Early Childhood, or Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Early Childhood with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Early Childhood Unified or Inclusive Education.
• CPR and First Aid Certificate or obtain the certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
• Prior experience working with young children is preferred.
