LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Nights​/Weekends

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN evaluates residents, administers medications or treatments, documents interactions, collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team, and supports residents and families in prevention and treatment plans.

• Evaluate resident status and conduct necessary testing to assess health needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain effective working relationships.
• Communicate clearly while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Provide counseling to residents, families, and advocates regarding prevention and treatment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of 400 hours of confirmed LPN experience or a supervised clinical program.
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice.
• Complete required department competencies and certifications.
• Maintain annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training.

Location:

Albion, NE

Shift: 12‑hour night shift
Full‑time, 40 hours per week
Salary range: $24–$36 per hour
Sign‑on bonus: $10,000
