Principal Accountabilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment up to 480V and 4160V, including VFDs
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Collaborate with operators, engineers, and contractors to resolve system issues and support project installations
- Maintain accurate logs of repairs, calibrations, and performance issues
- Ensure compliance with the National Electric Code and Cargill safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Legal to work in the US without the need of a Visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to read/write English
- High school diploma or equivalent, with basic computer and math skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces or extreme temperatures
- Experience with electrical maintenance, including reading blueprints and schematics
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, and different shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience wiring and programming Allen Bradley PLCs
- Familiarity with electrical test equipment for diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code and industrial electrical standards
- State of Nebraska Apprentice, Journeyman, or higher electrical license (or equivalent)
- Associate degree in electromechanical or electrical systems, or equivalent training
