Staff Accountant

New Opportunity | Entry-Level Staff Accountant | Scituate, MA

I’m currently representing a well-established construction organization that is looking to add an Entry-Level Staff Accountant to its team in the Scituate, MA area.

This is a great opportunity for a recent accounting or finance graduate who is looking to begin their career in a hands‑on accounting environment. You’ll have the opportunity to learn project accounting, work alongside experienced accounting professionals, and gain exposure to active construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Accounts Payable and invoice processing
• Support Accounts Receivable and customer invoicing
• Assist with account reconciliations and general accounting tasks
• Help track project costs and expenses
• Assist with vendor setup and documentation
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors as needed
• Assist the accounting team with day-to-day financial responsibilities
• Learn and support accounting processes across multiple active projects

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Internship or prior accounting experience is a plus, but not required
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Comfortable working with Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Eager to learn and grow within an accounting team
• Construction experience is a plus, but not required
• Up to $70K base salary, depending on experience
