Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW: The BCBA will provide behavioral consultation to staff regarding students with autism and/or behavioral challenges, assisting students with improving academic, communication, behavior, social, and emotional regulation skills. The Behavioral Analyst will model and facilitate the provision of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services and complete and/or facilitate the implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP). All services must be provided in person.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct observations of students with autism and/or behavioral issues.
  • Create and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans.
  • Provide consultation and training to school staff on behaviors, ABA, and discrete trial training.
  • Assist staff in collecting data and providing specialized interventions.
  • Maintain documentation of observations and interventions; provide input to progress reports.
  • Follow IDEA regulations to ensure parent/student rights are upheld, including the right to the least restrictive environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administrators; keep administrators informed about student cases.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
  • Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Massachusetts licensure as a BCBA.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, nonverbal, written).
QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED
  • Two years of experience working with children with autism.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Rate: $110 per day
