Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) / Physical Therapist (PT)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position in a long-term care setting. This role involves providing therapeutic care to residents in nursing homes, with an emphasis on enhancing mobility and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Administer physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist residents in achieving their therapy goals through tailored exercise programs.
- Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
This position guarantees 35 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours. The work schedule will include weekend days.
LocationThis opportunity is available in multiple locations within the region, specifically in city, state.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited program for Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
