Nurse Practitioner, Internal Medicine

We are seeking a Part‑Time, 20‑hour Nurse Practitioner to join our Internal Medicine team in Scituate. The weekly schedule consists of 18 hours of clinical, patient‑facing time and 2 hours of administrative time. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is located at 56 New Driftway, Suite 101, Scituate, MA. The provider will work two (2) 8‑hour shifts per week, including Fridays, and one (1) 4‑hour shift per week.

This role requires direct patient care.

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow‑up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Consistently provides high‑quality and timely documentation, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population.

• Education Master’s Degree Nursing required
• Licenses and Credentials Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN‑NP - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
• Experience 2 years of licensed nurse practitioner experience, 1–2 years required
• Prior Primary Care experience required
