POSITION OVERVIEW:

Come join our "home away from home" public school community and work alongside our experienced nursing team in a friendly and welcoming environment!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide nursing coverage for staff nurse absences, field trips, health screenings or professional development days.
• Provide nursing services to the student population on a day-to-day, as-needed basis.
• Provide triage, nursing assessment, and treatment of illness and injury.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness.
• Communicate with parents, faculty/staff, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or the Director of Nursing

QUALIFICATIONS
- REQUIRED:

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Current certification in CPR/AED and First Aid.
• Experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing.
• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's Degree

TERMS: Up to three paid days of orientation, $245 per diem rate, the work day is7 hours.
