About Newmark School Newmark K-8 School and Newmark High School are state-approved, private not-for-profit institutions dedicated to serving children with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention issues, and other developmental disabilities. Your Opportunity to Make a Difference We are seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional Art Classroom who is dedicated, compassionate, and ready to bring their expertise and heart into a school that values innovation, support, and collaboration.

What You'll Do Assist with day-to-day classroom needs, including grading assignments, organizing materials, supporting lesson planning, and working with individual students or small groups. Apply professional development strategies to support effective teaching practices and classroom management. Serve as a substitute for the Classroom Teacher when needed to ensure consistency in instruction and student support. Help plan and organize community-based instructional trips and contribute to the structure and flow of class periods.

What We're Looking For Valid New Jersey Substitute Teacher Certificate Associate's Degree, Bachelor's preferred. Ability to interact with a broad group of students and staff members in various settings. Patience and perseverance to deal successfully with special education students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with students.
