$17.67/hr – $22.09/hr

The Facility Maintenance Assistant will help to ensure the overall safe operation and cleanliness of our YMCA through general maintenance, cleaning, inspection and repair of the property and facility.

• Daily and routine maintenance
• Completing minor repairs
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the facility and equipment
• Set‑up and break‑down of equipment/furniture

Prior experience in general facility maintenance and/or skill with a specific trade such as plumbing, electric, carpentry, HVAC is preferred. Must be available to work weekends.

Performing the duties of this job requires the employee to climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand for an extended period of time, climb ladders, walk, shovel snow, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, have finger dexterity, grasp, perform repetitive motions, talk, hear and have visual acuity. The work is performed both indoors and out, and may require travel to various locations.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The hourly rate is $17.67.
