Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our Accounting Department. The AR Specialist is responsible for managing all accounts receivable functions related to construction projects, including pay applications, lien waivers, job billing, and collections. This role works closely with project managers, business owners, and general contractors to ensure accurate and timely payment.

Skills & Qualifications

3+ years experience in construction billing (roofing preferred) Solid understanding of lien waivers, retainage, and progress billing Familiarity with construction contracts and billing schedules High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Experience in commercial roofing or specialty contracting Knowledge of Louisiana lien laws and notice requirements Experience working with GCs and property managers Understanding of job costing and WIP reporting Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners Proficient in accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics, Foundation, or similar) Proficient with Excel / spreadsheets

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
