We are partnering with a growing, established energy infrastructure organization seeking a Director of Power Generation to serve as a senior strategic and operational leader within its expanding Power Generation division.

This is not a traditional Project Director or Senior Project Manager position. We are looking for a highly accomplished energy executive who can operate as a strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership
, while simultaneously providing the operational, financial and technical oversight required to successfully build and scale a major business division.

The right individual will bring significant experience within the Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC/EPCM, Power Generation, Pipeline, Midstream, Refining or broader Energy Infrastructure markets and possess the credibility to engage with sophisticated owners, clients, engineers, contractors and executive stakeholders.

This individual will be headquartered through the organization's Louisiana operations and must be comfortable with regular travel to Abilene, Texas
, as well as project sites and client locations as business needs require.

You will take executive-level ownership of the Power Generation division, helping determine how the organization is structured, staffed, managed and scaled.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serve as a strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership
  , helping establish the long-term direction, operating model and growth strategy of the Power Generation division.
• Provide executive oversight across a portfolio of complex energy and power-generation projects from initial opportunity and planning through execution, financial performance and client delivery.
• Lead through Project Managers, Superintendents and other senior project leaders rather than functioning as the day-to-day PM on an individual project.
• Develop the organizational structure, policies, processes, reporting standards and operating discipline necessary to scale the division.
• Own divisional financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, project controls, margin protection, cash flow, cost-to-complete and overall project profitability.
• Review project health across schedule, cost, manpower, procurement, subcontractors, milestones, risk, change orders and client commitments.
• Evaluate estimates, bids and front-end project plans to determine whether opportunities are properly priced, executable and financially attractive.
• Provide executive-level oversight of project schedules and critical-path information, including Primavera P6/CPM scheduling and project-controls data.
• Partner with engineering, procurement, construction, vendors and subcontractors to resolve issues impacting cost, schedule, quality or project execution.
• Lead commercial and contractual discussions involving scope changes, schedule impacts, client negotiations, subcontractor agreements and financial exposure.
• Build trusted relationships with owners and clients while participating in strategic discussions around project performance, future capital programs and additional opportunities.
• Recruit, mentor and develop Project Managers, Superintendents and future leaders while creating a strong leadership bench capable of supporting continued growth.
• Oversee manpower and resource planning across multiple projects and geographic locations.
