Production Machine Operator

We are looking for Production Machine Operators for our high precision stainless and nickel alloy tube production site at Alleima Precision Tube, Scottdale, PA, USA.

After on‑the‑job training, you will set up and operate machinery and material‑handling equipment on the production floor. Machinery includes overhead cranes, small and large swagers, cutting equipment, and you will also handle measuring and material transportation.

• Under general direction, responsible for the setup, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes.
• Follow established procedures for operating various conventional and/or specialized manufacturing processes (drawing, heat treatment, cutting, straightening, etc.).
• Select and measure raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
• Raise and report issues related to the organization’s production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations.
• Inspect machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain and clean your workstation.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements.
• Deliver expected results: quality of the tubes, productivity in terms of parts produced per hour, compliance with production procedures and instructions, and quality control of parts with identification of defects.

Passionate about manufacturing with an innovative mindset; strong work ethic, dependable safety record, and ability to learn on the job. A high school diploma or GED is required. You must be able to work the second shift (3:00 PM‑11:00 PM) and/or the night shift (11:00 PM‑7:00 AM).
