- Manage and oversee healthcare delivery for residents and staff in long-term care
- Travel daily to participate in care across various facilities as per scheduling requirements
- Assess and treat chronic and acute wound-related issues, as well as minor injuries
- Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend necessary follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians, write prescriptions, and perform required bedside procedures
- Work closely with the medical director on resident and staff care
- Proof of Covid vaccination required
- Current, valid registered nurse license in the state
- Active and unrestricted state APRN license or the ability to secure it before hiring
- Completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program
- Authorization from Board of Nursing to perform medical acts
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capability to stand and walk for over 4 hours
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds to assist residents
- Lift 10 pounds routinely for essential job functions
- Push/pull over 70 pounds while administering patient care
- Bend, squat, kneel, and twist while providing patient care
- Have depth perception for executing medical procedures
- Exposure to various indoor and outdoor conditions, as well as potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and chemical hazards
- Regular travel required between multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Covid vaccination is mandatory for this position
