to join our Operations team and help drive data-informed decision-making across our manufacturing and supply chain environment.

Position Summary

The Operations Business Analyst II is a mid-level, on-site role responsible for transforming operational data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, execution, and scalability. This position partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives, and reports into the demand planning manager of DDI

This role is ideal for an experienced analyst who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex business problems through data and collaboration.

What You’ll Do Operational Analytics & Reporting
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and KPIs for Operations, including throughput, cycle time, yield, on‑time delivery, capacity, inventory turns, and cost drivers
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and frontline teams
  • Ensure data accuracy and alignment across ERP, MES, and reporting systems
Process Improvement & Optimization
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and variability across operational workflows
  • Lead root cause analyses and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance
  • Support S&OP, capacity planning, and demand forecasting through analytics
  • Convert business needs into analytical models and reporting solutions
Project & Initiative Support
  • Support or lead projects such as ERP enhancements, NPI programs, and facility/process improvements
  • Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and scenario models for leadership decisions
Data Governance & Maturity
  • Help define standards for operational metrics and reporting cadence
  • Improve analytics discipline and data maturity across the Operations organization
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Operations, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Ability to analyze large data sets, and generate crisp insights in terms of historical material spend and/or customer historical demand
  • Outstanding cross functional communication is mandatory for success
  • 4–7 years of experience in operations analysis, manufacturing analytics, or business analytics
  • Experience working in manufacturing, EMS, or industrial environments
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SYSPRO preferred)
  • SQL, Python, or advanced data modeling experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or high-mix/low-volume environments
  • Curious in understanding status quo with an unrelenting desire to improve efficiency
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or formal continuous improvement training
  • Experience supporting S&OP or production planning functions
