Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Order Entry specialist to support our growing customer base. This role is responsible for reviewing and accurately processing customer orders in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in data entry & maintenance, ensure data integrity, and collaborate closely with Customer Service, Sales & Operations team to provide exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and enter customer orders in the ERP system with high accuracy.
  • Review of orders for pricing and compliance with company policies.
  • Verify customer information, shipping account, delivery address.
  • Verify customer part number, revision, internal stock codes, special requirements.
  • Communicate with Inside Sales Representative regarding problem orders / discrepancies.
  • Resolve basic order related issues and elevate complex problems as needed.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Shipping to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate digital records in designated internal systems.
  • Follow SOP’s for order processing, documentation, and workflow accuracy.
Systems & Tools
  • Use of ERP/CRM systems to process orders (e.g. Syspro, SAP, SharePoint as needed)
  • Import/Export reports and assist with daily, weekly reporting tasks.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in order entry, data entry, customer service
  • Strong attention to details and high accuracy in data entry
  • Strong understanding of order management systems (experience with customer portals SAP, Ariba Business Network & Syspro ERP system is a plus).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Effective Communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Additional skills are beneficial
