Internship Eligibility & Location RequirementsThis is a paid, temporary internship opportunity expected to last approximately 3–6 months. The internship is open to individuals who are currently pursuing a college degree or who have recently completed a relevant degree and are seeking hands‑on, early‑career experience. Current college enrollment is not required.
This position requires regular onsite attendance didates must be able to reliably commute to the worksite for the duration of the internship. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Internship assignments are temporary and do not guarantee conversion to regular employment. However, interns may be considered for future opportunities based on business needs, performance, and available positions.
The internship pays $35.00 per hour for candidates pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree and $40.00 per hour for candidates pursuing or holding a master’s degree.
Position SummaryDigital Dynamics Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to gain hands‑on experience supporting the design, testing, and documentation of electrical systems used in our industrial control products. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to schematic design, printed circuit board development, prototype testing, troubleshooting, and engineering documentation. This internship provides exposure to real‑world hardware development and manufacturing in a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout activities
- Support the assembly, bring‑up, testing, and troubleshooting of prototypes
- Perform electrical measurements using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other laboratory equipment
- Help identify and resolve hardware design, component, and test‑related issues
- Support testing involving embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware‑integrated products
- Prepare and update engineering documentation, technical reports, and engineering change orders
- Collaborate with electrical, firmware, test, manufacturing, and other engineering teams
- Follow established engineering, documentation, and safety practices
- Currently pursuing, nearing completion of, or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Coursework, projects, or internship experience involving analog and digital circuit design
- Good understanding of circuit theory, electronic components, and PCB design
- Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle, or Ki Cad
- Hands‑on experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, or similar laboratory equipment
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or firmware development is a plus
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to prepare clear technical documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
