Supplier Industrialization Engineer

Job Summary

Our client, a leading technology and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer to drive supplier development, qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives across critical component and assembly suppliers. This role partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to enhance supplier capabilities, ensure product quality, optimize manufacturing processes, and support cost reduction efforts throughout the product lifecycle.

• Develop supplier capabilities through technical capability assessments and manufacturing process improvement initiatives
• Lead supplier qualification efforts to ensure sustained high-quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery of critical components and assemblies
• Facilitate communication of technical requirements between suppliers and internal supply chain, design, and manufacturing teams
• Drive supplier DFM reviews, assembly tolerance stack-up analyses, and validation of manufacturing processes against design requirements
• Evaluate new and alternative materials to improve design quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through process improvements, material optimization, and yield enhancement initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality, or a related engineering discipline
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes related to mechanical, electrical (including PCB and PCBA), and electro-mechanical components and assemblies
• Experience performing drawing reviews, tolerance stack-up analyses, metrology evaluations, and statistical analysis using SPC, DOE, and sampling plans
• Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, often on short notice

• Prior experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering focused on power semiconductors, injection molding, stamping, sheet metal fabrication, PCBA processes, or top level assembly lines
• Ability to read engineering drawings, with a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Experience with ERP and PLM tools to support BOM control, change management, factory quality, and supplier reporting
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills (Tableau, JMP, Minitab, etc.)

Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $139,000 to $199,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
