CNC Machinist, Manufacturing Engineer
Position Responsibilities
- Set up new and repeat parts, optimize and operate advanced CNC equipment (3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills)
- Machine/monitor complex components to tight tolerances
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement optimization
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering on process improvements
- Mentor junior machinists and support team development
- 10+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace/defense preferred)
- Advanced multi-axis machining and strong G-code knowledge
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and machining practices
- Deep understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
- Experience with regulated environments (AS9100, NADCAP)
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Must be knowledgeable with GD&T.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading written instructions, lists, documents, blueprints, and computer screen.
SalaryThe base salary range for this full-time position is $33.37-$56.73 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
